Gettysburg National Military Park & Eisenhower National Historic Site - Begin your tour at the park Visitors Center. See the Electric Map presentation and view the Gettysburg Museum of the Civil War. Licensed Battlefield guides are available for personalized tours. Cyclorama Center features a sound and light presentation of of "Pickett's Charge". Ranger conducted programs, in season. Eisenhower National Historic Site- Home and farm of Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States and his wife Mamie. Guided tours of farm, grounds and house, exhibits, Eisenhower video, bookstore, walk to cattle barns, living history, Jr. Secret Service Agent program. The Adams County Historical Society - Offers primary and secondary resource material for researching county history. Open Wednesday & Saturday 9-5. Guided tours of the museum in Schmucker Hall are available Wednesday & Saturday at 10AM and 2PM or by appointment. Adams County Winery - 8 miles west via Route 30 (follow blue signs). Discover Gettysburg's only winery. Free tastings of award-winning wines in a 130 year-old bank barn. Kings Gap Environmental Education Historic Site - Approximately 26 miles north of Gettysburg via Route 34 North to Route 174 West. Offers year-round environmental & interpretive programs as well as hiking, crosscountry skiing, and hunting.
